The Soho Burger Bar
Chippewa Street in downtown Buffalo, NY is one of the biggest party spots for club goers in the Buffalo area on the weekends. This whole strip of bars and restaurants add to the hussle on the weekends with everyone heading down there after a long week of work. One of the better known places on W. Chippewa is the Soho Burger Bar.
Soho Burger Bar is located on 64 W. Chippewa Street . With three bar areas and two patios, this place is incredibly popular on the weekends. Nicknamed “Soho”, weekend bar-goers flock to this two floor destination to get drinks, meet friends, make new ones and have a good time. What many of these bar-goers don’t realize about “Soho” is that it’s not a place just for drinks. It is also a Burger Bar, even though “burger” as the name suggests. Another thing people don’t realize is just how fantastic those burgers are.
Soho Burger Bar has some of the best, what I would call, gourmet burgers around. Not only do they get their beef blended and ground to their specifications from Johnny’s Meats, but they also have their own signature sweet brioche bun to go with their burgers. All of their sauces and dressings are made in-house and their produce is also brought in fresh, daily. They have a selection of 11 different burgers. These include everything from their Bison Beef on Weck complete with au jus and a Kimmelweck roll, to their Truffle Burger which has Gorgonzola cheese, balsamic red onions, and truffle pesto. You can also create your own burger from the custom “burger” section of their menu. So you can make a burger to satisfy your taste buds. However, I’d strongly recommend their chef prepared menu selections. They’re crafted with perfection, it would be an insult not to try them. If you are not in the mood for a burger (really?) they have other delicious fare.
So if you happen to be venturing down W. Chippewa before 11p.m. Monday-Thurs, before midnight on Friday and Saturday, before 9p.m. on Sunday, and you’re in the mood for a really good burger. If you’re not visitng that area by chance, then make it a point to get to the Soho Burger Bar. You won’t be disappointed
