Garlic is a healthy and delicious food that adds a great deal of punch to any dish. Garlic Bruschetta is a fast and easy recipe that will please the whole family; it is a healthy alternative to other snacks because of all the nutrition this snack packs.
Garlic Bruschetta Serves: 4
Time: 15 minutes
Garlic Bruschetta with Tomatoes and Basil Ingredients:
– 12 slices baguette bread
– 3 tomatoes, seeded and diced
– 2 garlic cloves, peeled and cut in half
– ¼ cup fresh basil leaves
– Extra-virgin olive oil
– Salt, to taste
Directions:
- Preheat broiler to medium.
- Brush the bread slices with olive oil. Broil bread until darkened on both sides.
- Rub the bread with garlic.
- Chop the basil and combine with the chopped tomatoes. Drizzle with olive oil and season to taste. Place a pile of prepared tomato mix on baguette slices and serve.
- Save extra garlic for a future recipe.
