Last week we had fun talking about some of the best wine bars in Buffalo. The list continues.
6 Shango
Located at 3260 Main St in Buffalo, NY, Shango Bistro & Wine Bar is a place inspired by the culture and the flavors of the Creole and Cajun cuisine of New Orleans, Louisiana. Capturing these flavors and pairing them with their Wine Spectator, award-winning wine list, Shango has created something that you can’t usually find in Buffalo. It’s definitely worth checking out, especially if you want a taste of NOLA up north.
7 Siena
Siena, is a small Italian restaurant found on the outskirts of the Village of Williamsville located at 4516 Main St in Snyder, NY. The atmosphere is that of an upscale Italian restaurant. Fresh slabs of Parmigiana rest on a table near the kitchen and the staff slices them for the many dishes they create. Their goal is to bring authentic Italian cuisine to the area and they do an excellent job. Siena has a wide selection of wines displayed in two wall dividers in the restaurant.
8 Wine on Hertel
Wine on Hertel can help you find the perfect wine for your pallet. They are located at 1370 Hertel Avenue in Buffalo, NY. Whether you’re a newbie learning about what kind of wines you like or you really know your taste and are looking for something you love, this is a great place to visit. Wine on Hertel doesn’t just offer a great wine selection, they also stock a nice variety of craft beer. So if your are out with friends who don’t entirely enjoy wine,(really?) no worries, there’s a place for them, too.
9 Raclettes
Raclettes is a casual, Parisian style bistro located at 537 Main St in Downtown Buffalo. It is another fun spot that has great reviews. Hey, maybe it is time for you to do a wine crawl. This French style bistro has everything from yummy cheeses to “Jamon” but with the hometown attitude of Buffalo. Indulge in live music every Thursday. They are famous for their traditional melted “fromage” hence the name, Raclettes. However, any Parisian bistro is not complete without a fabulous wine list. Wine & cheese? Don’t mind if I do.
10 Wine on Third
Last, but certainly not least, Wine on Third is located at 501 Third St in Niagara Falls, NY . Not only is this venue ranked as one of the top places for food in Niagara Falls, but it has a “lengthy” wine list. Wine on Third is famous for it’s “tapas, dinner and wine in an elegant and friendly atmosphere.” It has a classy vibe and cuisine that is sure to please any foodie.
At the end of the day, there’s always room for a glass of wine and good company, even if that company is yourself. Cheers!
