There’s a Noodle Bar in Buffalo?

April 27, 2017 By Stephanie Kennedy

Who doesn’t love a good bowl of noodles?  Kaydara Noodle Bar, located at 777 Main Street in Downtown Buffalo, NY, is a classic noodle bar with delicious and decadent noodle bowls, small plates filled with potstickers, eggrolls, bean sprout salads and more. Featuring East Asian cuisine, Kaydara has been trending due to the growing popularity of noodle bars around the US.

For those who don’t know, or have never had a noodle bowl, there are large varieties being offered which are limited only by the chef’s imagination. Depending on where you go, you can find bowls that have rice noodles, udon to name a few. The selections on a menu can vary and there are different choices depending on the restaurant’s inclinations. My personal favorite from Kaydara’s would have to be Mung Bean bowl. This bowl comes with rice noodles and the savory broth is mixed with spinach, pork, a tea-soaked egg and enoki, a thin, white mushroom used in many East Asian cuisines. This dish is worth a visit to Kaydara’s.

If you’re not into noodles, however, Kaydara also offers a medley of different dishes. They offer large plates and small plates. Large plates feature delicious dishes ranging from Spicy Black Bean Pork Ribs to Curried Half Chicken. Smaller plates are sampler size pot stickers, fresh rolls, which are spring rolls wrapped in rice paper, along with steamed dumplings and several small salads like tomato cucumber or bean sprout.

If you are into the East Asian flavors this is your place. But if not, Kaydara has something for everyone. You just might just find out that you like something that you had never even thought of trying before. Plus, they have a great variety of infused water. You know all of those cool noodle places you hear about in New York City? Now, you can go try one in your own backyard.
